Standard Futon Description:A dorm room futon is one of the most common pieces of furniture that college students add to their room. Until Dorms Direct came along, you only had two options: You could either purchase one in advance, find a way to pack it in your car, and then assemble it yourself when you finally get to school. Or you could wait until after you show up at school, and venture out to the local stores (along with 500 of your classmates) in hopes that you could find one in stock. And IF you were lucky enough to find one, you still had to assemble it!
Thankfully, Dorms Direct gives you a better option. We'll have the futon already installed in the room ready for when you arrive. You simply show up, and kick back on your awesome futon! Our Dorms Direct Standard Futon is the traditional college dorm futon. The classic black frame and mattress are sure to compliment any decor. You can also put a fitted sheet over the mattress to add some subdued color or bright pattern for some distinct flare! Our standard futon comes with an eight-inch seamless mattress, and a comfortable washable cover, and is situated on top of a sturdy steel frame. This futon will fit perfectly underneath our bed loft. You may also choose to upgrade to a BRAND NEW unit for an additional $100. Now while this standard futon provides adequate comfort, you should consider upgrading to a Deluxe Futon for the ultimate in comfort and luxury! ***Please note that not all futons are exactly the same on all campuses. Your particular model may vary slightly from the ones pictured here on this website.*** |
"There was absolutely no space in our room to sit. Putting a futon underneath our bedloft was the ideal solution and gave a space to hang out in our room."
-Aaron P. (Junior) "My roommate and I each rented a bedloft last year. We set up the futon under mine, and put the tv and minifridge under his. It was like having an actual living room inside our dorm room."
